We will ensure your logo amplifies your identity.
Branding Starts with your Logo
Beyond the name of your business, the first and most important element of your business in terms of branding is your logo. Who is your target audience, what are your company colors, what do those color embody? How easy is your font to read from billboards or the side of trucks? These are some of the questions and considerations that should be made when developing your logo.
Ownership of your Artwork
A common (and costly) mistake nowadays is hiring a freelancer that is using pre-made artwork that he/she does not have the rights to use in a logo (services like Fiverr are a big culprit of this). Just imagine paying someone $50 to develop your logo and then getting Thousands of dollars worth of shirts, business cards..ect printed only to find out your logo is infringing on someone else copyright? Although paying pennies for a logo might sound appealing when thinking budgets, going cheap on your logo could prove to be very costly in the end.
At Forward Web we do not use any pre-made clip-art in the development of your logo. Once your logo is complete, you own 100% of the rights to your artwork.
Dont Forget to Trademark
Assuming you have already checked to ensure your business name is not infringing on any trademarks, make sure you allocate a budget for trademarking your business name and logo. The only think worse than accidentally infringing on someones trademark is to have someone else legitimately trademark your business name or logo after.
