What is SEO?

Question: What is SEO?
Answer: SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results through search engines like Google (not to be confused with Paid, Cost per click campaigns).
Question: With so much competition on Google and priority placement being given to those paying for Clicks, is Search Engine Optimization still worth it?
Answer: Absolutely, however SEO in-itself should not be the entire focus of your campaign and there is no one-size fits all solution for SEO. Different website sizes, demographics, competition..ect all require each website and business to be analyzed individually. Further, if increased visibility is the objective, an increase in sales or lead generation is the ultimate goal. Therefore the strategy should not just involve SEO, but also landing pages, content marketing, social media and Paid Advertisements (Google, Facebook, Instagram..ect).
Question: How Much Should I Pay for SEO?
Answer: Assuming you have already set aside a budget for web marketing, how much of that budget gets diverted to SEO should only account for a portion of your total budget.Although this number can vary, at Forward Web we place this number to around 10-25% of your total budget.
