Our Story

With origins dating back to 2001. Forward Web was initially started and Founded by Fernando D. Alfaro in Denver, CO. Since then, the business has gone through many transformations, from re-structuring the business to re-branding the business from FernGullyGraphics to Forward Web.
With this in mind, the initial incarnation of Forward Web was humbly created by Fernando with the idea that websites simply needed to look better and needed to be better maintained. Back then (2001) the internet was fresh off the dot com collapse and the internet (in many respects) was still very much in its infancy. This meant many of the websites on the net lacked visual appeal and or functionality to serve much of a purpose beyond the very basics. By introducing Flash Animation (which solved the issue of appeal) and by creating content management systems that allowed website owners to maintain their websites without knowing how to code, the Forward Web business quickly grew.
However, with the quick growth came some challenges. Hindsight 20/20, the business simply grew too fast and as a result, the business collapsed, eventually going bankrupt. Around Mid-2006 Fernando packed up what was left of the business and headed back to his home-state of California where he continued to service a select number of clients through the FGG moniker. Eventually in 2012, having learned from previous mistakes, Fernando decided to re-launch the business.
Fast forward to 2019, Forward Web has since experienced tremendous growth and although we are still relatively small compared to a Google, we now service over 2500 clients across the globe (ranging from small business, to big business). We are also one of the only companies that can effectively move your web presence forward under a single brand. In other words, with Forward Web you don’t have to worry about finding 3-4 different companies to services you’re web needs, we do it all and we do it all very well.
